Welcome to my blog...it has been a long time coming! I decided for my first post, I would address the title of my blog 'Therklesen Bliss'. First, Therklesen is my last name...from marriage (my maiden name wasn't much better) :) and the 'Bliss' was choosen to describe my life. Recently I have been handed several major changes in my life and the life of my family. Those changes have given me and new perspective on the life I lead, the past trials and things that have made me who I am today, and as well as the future aventures, obsticles, and things I need to overcome. Through it all, the pitfalls, tears, sadness, failures and things I have struggled to overcome, I was handed a peace of heaven, a ray of joy....bliss. No matter where I have come from, or what tomorrow might hold, my life is bliss [n] 'complete happiness' or 'spiritual joy'. Things in my life may not be perfect, or even close, but when I put all those 'things' aside and look at my life as a whole... who I am, where I live, what I believe, my children, my husband, my family....I only see 'complete happiness and spirital joy'...I see Bliss. It has taken me about 29 years and a few other circumstances to get to this point in my life, but it's a place I would like to share with others...a journey I have not taken alone, nor do I want to continue it alone...so with that...welcome to Therklesen Bliss!
